1. The off-line version of the application requires that you first be a registered user using the on-line version. This can be done by creating an account via the on-line tool (once you go to save, print a report, e-mail a report, you will be prompted to register). Once you have registered and have your username and password, you can download, install and use the off-line version.
2. In order to assure that the off-line version is up to date with the latest assessment / analysis models, after installation, you will immediately be prompted to synchronize between the off-line and on-line versions. You must perform this synchronization in order to use the off-line version.
3. Any files you wish to up-load to the on-line version to create a full report, or download to the off-line version to use in client engagements from your PC, use synchronization in the off-line version to transfer files between the versions.

Special Consideration for Assessment Tool Users Only: When using the off-line version, if you would like to prepare a full assessment report that contains peer comparison information, you need to synchronize with the on-line version (because the peer database is only available on-line).

Once the assessments are synchronized, you can open the assessment using the on-line version, on the Introduction screen reselect any one of Industry, Location or Size selections, and the peer comparison information will be loaded into the Results and Report.
